Training sessions are frequently done to equip faculty members, heads of residences and ResEd-cluster coordinators with the necessary skills and knowhow to effectively utilise certain tracking systems, like the LAPS (“Leefplek Akademiese Prestasie Stelsel”) and RUGSAP (“Retensie, Uitval- en Gradueringstelsel vir Akademiese Programme).
Training sessions of ResEd-cluster coordinators, head mentors and mentors, specifically with regard to the BeWell website, the individual wellness websites of mentors and mentees, the tracking mechanisms within the system and the student wellness project in general. Various information sessions are also regularly held in residences and so-called “road shows” are undertaken to familiarise mentors with the system.
