DIVERT INCOMING CALLS TO YOUR MAILBOX

Incoming calls can be diverted to your VOICEMAIL BOX in two ways:

Temporarily:

All calls will immediately divert while you are not available.

Permanently:

All calls will be diverted after approximately eight rings.

 

Divert Incoming Calls Temporarily

1.

Analogue Phone

 

The user on an analogue phone can select to transfer all incoming call immediately to voicemail by performing the following actions:

 

TO DIVERT:

 

User: Pick up phone at Extension and dial *10 and the 2555

 

VOICEMAIL: All calls are immediately diverted to Voicemail box.

 

TO CANCEL:

 

User: Pick up phone at Extension and dial # 10

 

VOICEMAIL: All calls rings at the extension.

2.

Digital Phone

 

The user on a digital phone can select to transfer all incoming call immediately to voicemail by performing the following actions:

 

TO DIVERT:

 

User: On the digital phone select SYSTEM MENU, press FORWARD then 2555 and press OK

 

VOICEMAIL: All calls are immediately diverted to Voicemail box.

 

TO CANCEL:

 

User: Press the Call Forward button and the light will switch off.

 

VOICEMAIL: All calls ring at the extension.

 

Divert Incoming Calls Permanently

1.

Analogue Phone

 

The user on an analogue phone can select to transfer all incoming call permanently to voicemail by performing the following actions:

 

TO DIVERT:

 

User: Pick up phone at Extension and dial *11 and then 2555. Replace the phone. Pick it up and dial #10 to activate.

 

VOICEMAIL: All calls will be diverted to voicemail when the line is busy or after 8 rings.

 

TO CANCEL:

 

User: Picks up phone and dial #11.

 

VOICEMAIL: All calls rings at the extension.

2.

Digital Phone

 

The user on a digital phone can select to transfer all incoming calls permanently to voicemail by performing the following actions:

 

TO DIVERT:

 

User: On the digital phone select SYSTEM MENU, press FORWARD and again FORWARD, then press 2555 and OK

 

VOICEMAIL: All calls are permanently diverted to Voicemail box.

 

TO CANCEL:

 

Please contact System Administrator at extension 4614 to cancel this function.
