Voicemail Retrieval

Retrieve from External Extension:

The Voicemail Extension number (2555) is the primary number on the PABX to gain access to the Voicemail system.
Note: (The Voicemail System Administrator will create the Voicemail box with the Voicemail PIN (VPIN) for each User of the system.)

Default Personal Greeting

The Default Personal Greeting is as follows: "The extension you have dialed is not available at the moment. Please leave your name and contact details after the tone."
Note: (The user can change the Default Personal Greeting by selecting to record his own Personal Greeting on the Voicemail System.)

Registration Procedure

The Administrative procedure to acquire a Voicemail Box for a particular telephone extension.

Digital phone

Has one of the following names: Siemens Optiset or Telkom Telligence.

Analogue phone

All phones, with the exception of Siemens Optiset and Telkom Telligence.

Voicemail Box Divert

The action to divert all calls to the voicemail system.

Voicemail Notification

The method by which the user will be notified by the Voicemail system when a new message has been recorded in his Voice mailbox.

Voicemail Extension Number (VEN)

The last four digits of your Extension Number
The Voicemail Extension Number identifies the voice mailbox for a specific user.

Voicemail PIN (VPIN )

The VPIN protects the Voicemail box from unauthorized access by another person.
Note: Each user will select his/her unique number and will supply the information on the registration form.
