Happy Spring Day?

Most Western Cape locals know that celebrating the arrival of Spring on the first of September is a rookie mistake especially with last week's snow still fresh in our minds. But here we are, on 1 September, with four months left of the year.

The weekend of the 17th sees our system admins doing their own version of spring cleaning during the maintenance weekend. Please keep in mind that interruptions during this time are possible.

No deliveries during lockdown
Even though Information Technology has been fully operational during lockdown, most of our support is done remotely. This also means that, at the moment, no deliveries are being made to clients on any campus. Read the full article
   
Remember to check your Junk Email
To ensure that staff and students aren't exposed to malicious phishing or spam emails our system administrators and security team had to enable a stricter spam filter earlier this year. This means that some of your emails might end up in the Junk Email folder. Read the full article
   
Service levels impacted by COVID
We currently have a number of positive COVID cases among our support staff.  In all probability our support service levels will be reduced until the affected staff are able to return to their normal duties. Read the full article
