Be cyber aware

Every October Cybersecurity Awareness Month is celebrated worldwide to create cognizance of cybersecurity risks and how we can protect ourselves against threats.

Even though we believe we are savvy enough to avoid getting caught, IT receives weekly reports of staff and students who fall for phishing emails. IT staff can put all the necessary measures in place to protect you, but unfortunately we can't prevent you from clicking on malicious links. We rely on your vigilance to safeguard yourself, your colleagues and the university against security breaches.

Until next month. Stay safe online and offline.
