CYBERSECURITY MONTH

October is Cybersecurity month. Do we really need a month dedicated to safety online? The answer is a resounding YES. For the latest up-to- date cyber tips, news and guidelines, please follow our Twitter feed. In this month's edition you will also find articles on cybersecurity which will help you secure your online presence.

Lastly, remember that, after 10 years of support, Windows 7 is coming to an end on 14 January 2020. Therefore it's essential that you upgrade as soon as possible.

 
   
 
SUNSTUDENT WORKSHOPS OFF TO A GOOD START

Over the past few months the SUNStudent implementation team have been conducting and coordinating blueprint workshops to understand and unravel the Stellenbosch University student life cycle process.



DIGITAL LITERACY TRAINING FOR FREE
Our training service provider, StellieTech, is currently offering a 3-day Digital Literacy Course. The course is free to all SU staff, but space is limited, so register as soon as possible if you’re interested.


SU LAUNCHES NEW SCHOOL FOR DATA SCIENCE AND COMPUTATIONAL THINKING
Stellenbosch University (SU)'s new School for Data Science and Computational Thinking was officially launched in July at a function at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study.
