ANOTHER DATA BREACH

Facebook is in the news again. This week it announced that a new logo will be rolled out over the next few weeks. However, shortly after, it was once again making headlines, but for the wrong reasons. Apparently a hundred third-party developers may have had access to user data − disconcerting information for users of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

Speaking of security risks, a particularly persistent phishing email has been plaguing mailboxes over the past month and staff and student accounts are still being compromised.
