BYE-BYE WINDOWS 7

All support for Windows 7 will end on 14 January 2020. After ten years the operating system has reached the end of its lifecycle and if you are still using it, it's time to upgrade to something new. The good news is that we will upgrade your PC for free if the hardware allows it.

In each newsletter we try to give you the most relevant and necessary information, but we'd also like to hear your opinion. Would you mind completing a very short survey to help us? (see below)

STILL USING WINDOWS 7?

Support for Windows 7 is ending. After 14 January 2020 Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7.

LIBRARY RESEARCH WEEK
The annual Library Research Week will take place during the week of 13-17 May.​ The theme this year is "Be a smart researcher".
SU ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM OUTAGE: FEEDBACK

During the last week of April most of our staff and students were affected by a serious outage of the financial and student information systems.
