YOUR DATA

Over 2.5 quintillion bytes of data are created each day. How much is a quintillion? A LOT. And every day you are contributing to this enormous amount of data and in the process, exposing your information bit by bit. To quote Douglas Rushkoff: “Everything we do in the digital realm – from surfing the Web to sending an e-mail to conducting a credit card transaction to, yes, making a phone call – creates a data trail. And if that trail exists, chances are someone is using it – or will be soon enough.”

It's no longer a question if you should protect your data, but rather how you will protect it. We have a few suggestions in this month's edition.
