GOOGLE DOODLE

Did you know that Larry Page and Sergei Brin created the first Google Doodle when they went to the Burning Man to notify users of their absence in case Google's servers crashed? Today every Google Doodle is a creative, sometimes interactive, animation, customised to regions, themes and important dates by a dedicated team called "Doodlers". If you are curious about all the previous Google Doodles, you can view them here.

On a more logistical note, we would like to remind you that it's now much easier requesting assistance from IT, whether it's to order hardware or to help you access services. Just go to servicedesk.sun.ac.za, log in with your username and password and fill in the details. If you have any questions about the new ICT Partner Portal, email us at bitsbytes@sun.ac.za. Lastly, please take note that our Year-end function takes place on Friday, 16 November from 12:00 to 16:30. During this time no IT support will be available.
