Did you enjoy your rest? Even though the second semester started this week, we'd still rather focus on games. This does not mean we'll be talking about the Pokémon craze. (We are more enthusiastic about Nintendo's other release.)

Instead of Pokémon, we've found educational apps for growing minds and we question the effects of too much screen time on children.

   
Is screen time safe for children?
When you Google "children and screen time", you will instantly be confronted with a wide range of strong opinions on the subject. As with most controversial isues, it's best to consider all the facts and draw your own conclusions.

Email from "IT" a scam
Phishing scams disguised as e-mails from "The IT Admin Desk", asking you to upgrade your e-mail, are nothing new. This week another two were sent to SU staff's mailboxes.
