Besides the yearly logistical administration of network reactivation and activating access cards, the university's administrative system is turning over a new leaf from 1 March.

And are you starting to imagine things or do the staff and studentportals look a a bit different this morning? Your eyes aren't deceiving you. Even the portals slapped on a fresh, new and colourful layer of paint so you can access your important links even faster and easier. More on this ...

QVT STEPS ASIDE FOR TERA TERM

Out with the old, in with the new. Through the years most of us made use, at some stage, of the university's administative system (QVT) and we grew used to the black screen with it's neon green digits.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY NETWORK REACTIVATION

The first of April is infamous for being the day when everyone gets caught out one way or another. But if you suddenly have no network access on April's Fool's Day unfortunately it won't be a joke. It's more likely that you forgot to reregister in time.

REACTIVATE YOUR CARD

All visitors, contract workers and temporary staff are reminded to reactivated their cards before 30 March at the card office in Administration A. If a card is not activated by this date, it will expire.
